Sword in the stone
There are a lot of things Arthur did but I am only going to talk about one legend and it is Sword in the stone. Sword in the stone is about King Arthur how he becomes king and how the country picks there new king. The objective is they have a joust and the top ten joust winners join to try to pull out the sword that is in the stone. One of the people was Arthur and Arthur eventually wins. The story of the sword in the stone is King Arthur was really king uthers son but Arthur was given to Sir Ector as his stepson. It was magical that the sword was imbedded in the stone but only the true king of England could pull it out. Sir Ector, his real son Sir Kay, and Arthur all when to see the joust and they had forgotten the sword at the castle. Arthur went back to get the sword but instead of bring the sword to the joust he pulled it out of the stone. He told his step brother Sir Kay and he said he had pulled the sword out of the stone so his father Sir Ector said let’s see if he can do it again. He could not so he admitted that Arthur had pulled it out of the stone so Sir Ector made Arthur pull the sword out and Sir Ector did not believe he did and said Arthur was too small. He made Arthur go against nights and strong fighters but they could not pull the sword out. So since none of the other men could pull the sword out of the stone Arthur became King Arthur.
